Think about the last community you visited twice. The first visit probably answered a question. The second was a choice: you remembered a helpful person, wanted to see how a conversation turned out, or knew something interesting would be waiting.
That second visit is easy to overlook. We spend so much time planning a launch that we forget to plan the ordinary Tuesday that comes after it.
Make the next visit feel familiar
A weekly question gives people a rhythm. A thoughtful reply makes a name recognizable. Sharing what changed because of a discussion shows members that their time mattered. None of these needs to be a big production.
Give people something useful today, and something worth returning to tomorrow.
We’re exploring this in the next issue. Tell us what brings you back, then open the discussion to see how other readers think about it.
